My Name is Steven McCready and over the next few pages I hope to enlighten all wooden boat enthusiasts and present day owners of antique and classic Hackercrafts. I am hopefully going to give some insight to what was going on at the Hacker Boat Company from the roaring 20's through to the 50's. This will be done by using actual family photographs and other items that were saved when the Hacker Boat Company, Mt. Clemens, Michigan was dissolved in the summer of 1964 .

A brief copy of the History is located on the History page. The writer of this history is Mrs. Roberta McCready my Grandmother.
